Stylish and practical but poor door alignment

It is a beast of a thing. Certainly makes an impact in our kitchen.It is quite deep so stands out from the surrounding cabinets but is a really stylish well made product. The shelves are easily adjustable to suit all kinds of needs and the door holders are big and deep. Both hands are required to open and close the salad/vegetable draw as it is so wide and clips shut keeping things really fresh. I can imagine it getting damaged if mistreated by heavy handed children/teens. The wine/drinks compartment is a dream but does not fit large diameter bottles but plenty of room in the fridge door compartment for those . The internal lights are brilliant and make it really easy to find things even in the depths and can be adjusted to any brightness either on the fridge controls or via an App on your phone. The only real issue I have is the French Door alignment. One door was 5mm higher than the other which really spoils the good looks of the appliance. A Siemens engineer came out to adjust them but was unable to get them completely aligned. He said it was a commen fault and that ours was not the worst he had seen. It is a real shame as otherwise, I have never seen a better looking fridge freezer. The freezer draws are set out so it is really easy to find all your items without rummaging or having to squat down. The little ice maker is simple and easy to use but the stiffness when replacing the tray can cause spillages into the ice cube holder below causing the cubes to clump somewhat, no biggy. Great product and really easy to clean the glass front and keep it looking good.

Good washer spoiled by cheap part

Purchased to replace our existing integrated Siemens washer that had given good service over many years. The new machine is very efficient and the higher spin speeds mean much reduced drying times. The wash programmes are effective (but very long 3+ hours! unless you use the reduced time setting). We have changed to using liquid detergent which is very convenient once you have told the machine the right amount to use. The tank is a fair size so does not need constant refilling. The bad bit: the cheap, round plastic door over the filter. After a week or two of near silent spinning (it really is quiet and rock strady) the flimsy plastic door now chatters away loudly with every spin cycle. Highly annoying bearing in mind the price of the machine. I really expected better at this price point.
