Please be aware that the dishwasher error codes only appear if your dishwasher has a digital display. The codes and recommended actions may not apply to the dishwasher you have at home. In this case, please check the user manual for your appliance.
Your dishwasher is showing a dishwasher error code relating to faulty electronics. This probably means a technical error has occurred or the programme has been interrupted. Your dishwasher might need repairing.
Solution: Before you contact Siemens Service, restart your dishwasher. To do this, please switch off the appliance using the on/off switch, wait a few minutes, then restart the appliance. If the dishwasher error code is still there, close the water tap and disconnect the dishwasher from the power supply. It is easy to book repairs using Siemens Service.
The dishwasher has detected a faulty door sensor or faulty electronics. Please contact Siemens Service and quote the Siemens dishwasher error code "EO6".
There is a fault in the dishwasher’s drying system. Please contact Siemens Service and quote the Siemens dishwasher error code "E07".
The dishwasher reports that the water level in the rinse bath is too low and the water level is too low.
Please check the position of the dishes. If bowls or pots have tipped over and water has collected in them, there may be too little water in the appliance for the rinsing process. It could also be that the dishes are covering the water intake opening in the interior so that the water flow is restricted.
There is a fault in the dishwasher’s heating system. Please contact Siemens Service and quote the Siemens dishwasher error code that is displayed.
E10 means there is a fault in the dishwasher’s drying system. Please contact Siemens Service and quote thethe Siemens dishwasher error code "E10".

The appliance has activated the water protection system because there is a fault in the filling system or a faulty water supply has been detected. Your dishwasher has a problem with water, as indicated by the Siemens dishwasher error code E14. Check the water inflow and make sure the corner valve flow-through and inlet hose are not kinked.

The dishwasher signals that water is in the floor tub. Turn off tap. Call customer service and quote the Siemens dishwasher error code "E15".

It is also possible that the filter is clogged at the water inlet. Please check the water inlet, and also see the information on “Dishwasher water supply”. Make sure there are no kinks in the water hose.
This generally involves a fault in the dispenser. Call Customer Service and quote the Siemens dishwasher error code "E19".
The appliance reports an error with the rinsing circuit, which could be caused by a fault in the circulating pump. Call customer service and quote the relevant Siemens dishwasher error code.
The dishwasher filter system is soiled or clogged. Please check the filter system and see the notes on "Cleaning your dishwasher filters”
This dishwasher error code indicates a fault with the dishwasher waste water pump. Please contact customer service quoting the Siemens dishwasher error code "E23". This error can only be remedied by Customer Service.
The dishwasher is not draining properly. Possible causes: a drain hose is clogged or kinked; the siphon connection is sealed; the pump cover is not on properly; the sewage pump is blocked.
Check the hoses: Set the programme selector to "Off". Pull out the mains plug. Check the drainage hose has been installed without kinks. Loosen the hose clip on the siphon. Carefully remove the drainage hose (residual water). Clean the drainage hose and siphon spigot. Hold the end of the hose in a bucket and select the 'Drain' programme. Connect the drainage hose to the siphon and check for leaks. Hold the end of the hose in a bucket and select the 'Drain' programme.
Caution: water may be scalding hot!
Check the pump: set the programme selector to "Off". Pull out the mains plug. Remove the filters. Remove the pump cover. Remove any residues. Check that the pump impeller rotates freely. Replace the pump cover. Replace the filter unit.
There is a problem in the water circuit caused by a defective component. Please contact Customer Service, quoting the error code, as this problem can only be remedied by Customer Service.
The dishwasher indicates a fault in the power supply or that the mains voltage is too low. There is no problem with the appliance, the problem is with the mains voltage. Please check the mains voltage and the electrical installation. More info you will find in the user manual.
There is a fault in the dishwasher’s drying system. The water does not heat up during operation. The dishwasher does not dry. Please contact Customer Service, quoting the Siemens dishwasher error code, as this fault can only be remedied by Customer Service.
The water supply filters or Aqua-Stop hose are blocked. The dishwasher waterflow is too slow. The tap might be jammed or calcified causing low water pressure. Or there is a kink in the supply hose/water hose. Please check the water inlet. Clean the water supply hose filters. Please note: The Aqua-Stop safety device contains an electric valve. Do not immerse in water! Instructions:
1. Turn the tap off.
2. Take the hose off the tap.
3. Clean the filters using a small brush.
4. In appliances without an Aqua-Stop, remove the hose from the back of the appliance, take out the filter with pliers and clean it.
5. Reconnect the hose and check it for leaks.
Check the tap water pressure using a bucket. About 10 litres of water per minute should flow out of a fully opened tap. Contact your plumber if the water pressure is too low.Ensure there are no kinks in the supply hose.
The dishwasher sensor does not detect salt tablets. Please use a different salt (not salt tablets).
Your dishwasher door is not closed properly. Try carefully closing the door again. If this doesn’t work, ensure that no objects (utensils, fragrance dispenser) are protruding over the basket and preventing the door from closing.
This may be caused by: a) No rinse aid b) No salt c) Sensor does not detect salt tablets. In these cases a) Refill rinse aid. b) Refill with special salt c) Use different special salt
If Refill indicator is switched off or there is enough special salt/rinse aid available, please check the user manual, section on water softening system/special salt or rinse aid
A technical fault has probably occurred. In these cases please switch off appliances with the ON/OFF switch. Wait a few minutes then restart the appliance. If the problem recurs, turn off the tap and disconnect from the mains.
