In every design we do, every product we launch, there's a lot of work being done behind it. Hours of study, research, trial and error, until everything comes together and we get to the perfect, final polished appliance you buy to compose the design of your home decor.

Siemens Design - Detail oven

It's handpicking materials.

Linear details such as the chrome line accentuates the geometric characteristics and precise design of Siemens Home Appliances. The chrome line is an exclusive and typical feature of Siemens premium products, lending them particular elegance and value appeal through their materials and optics. The horizontal alignment of the chrome line along the entire width of the appliance's front is used across all product categories and value classes.

Siemens Design - Hood detail blue lights

It's going beyond functionality.

The light colors steel blue and polar white shape the design of Siemens Home Appliances. White light is functional, while steel blue light sets bright accents. This allows the program status and process-related information to be displayed intelligently.

Siemens Design - fridge superfrost detail

It's about your experience.

The tile design confers its well-thought-out structure to the Siemens user interface and divides the operating surface into clearly delineated interaction zones. The tiles are based on a basic geometric shape and dynamically adapt to the contents. Together, the clear design and consistently sequential arrangement of control elements underpin the characteristic linear look of the user interface.

When design goes beyond the obvious, recognition comes visit.

We do our very best to make our designs meaningful for you. Beautiful in your eyes, functional for your needs. And we excel in that.

Siemens Design - Interior Kitchen

We strive designing it. So you can stand out.

But first, inspiration.

Siemens Design - inspiration mood

What inspires us.

Inspiration is everywhere. That’s why we pay attention to every detail, always keeping our eyes and minds open. We look for references that endure into the future. Like the harmony of a city skyline,or the boldness of architectural landmarks. And that’s the start of our process: looking at the world with a different perspective - translating it into the Siemens design language.

A glimpse at our process.

Siemens Design - Process

To meet your demands.

It’s not only about what inspires us, but you too. It’s our challenge to find innovative solutions to meet your demands, to create products that not only live up to your standards but exceed your expectations. That’s why we are always looking into new directions in product design, new materials, technologies, translating trends into elements that will fit in your lifestyle.

Siemens Design - Agile working

Effective way of working.

We tackle problems in the most effective way. With agile working methods, we are able to speed up our processes to achieve better solutions and faster results. Implementing these methods not only help us to complete projects more efficiently, but also reminds us that the best solutions are the ones that understand your needs, now and in the future.

Siemens Design - Process sketching

The start.

A blank canvas, a pen and an idea. That’s how every design starts. Four dots connecting to form a square.

With fundamentals in our inspirations, sketching can open doors to new ideas; it allows us to explore different concepts, roughly evaluate them and confirm if a certain direction has potential.

Siemens Design - process virtual reality

Making it digital.

VR is where designs start coming to life. With 3D data and CAD files, virtual reality allows us to have the first and more realistic interaction with the appliance. Opening doors, checking its inside, looking at designs from every angle – here, projects get more tangible, thanks to advanced technology.

Siemens Design - Process Prototyping

Testing the concept.

Prototypes are mainly created for us to try out a completely different design - and do it quickly. Needs little effort to build it, but it gives us the flexibility to play around with it: how does it feel, how can it be opened, how can it be loaded, etc. It allows us to see what the structure could be like. And in case we think it won’t work for you, it’s easy to discard it.

Design in our DNA.
